  We've been ordering from Mamas since we moved into the neighborhood a few years ago & we've yet to have a bad meal. They have such a vast selection so that everyone can get what they want. The service is fast, even for deliveries. They've become a staple for the nights we don't feel like cooking!

  I order a falafel w/ the garlic fries. Pros: The food was good, falafel tasted fresh and wasn't mushy and the amount of fries lasted for two days. Cons: I work 10 mins away and it took almost an hour which although they say thats the average time still seemed excessive. The driver wouldn't turn into the side where my building was so I had to search for him. 3. VERY RUDE concerning the tip I gave him. Told me that they wouldn't deliver to me if I didn't give them more more money next time. It was an $8 lunch did he expect a $100? I don't have to tip anything,but the amount of dollars I give is courtesy and you shouldn't threaten me for it. I won't be ordering from them again.

  If you're looking for world class Japanese cuisine, this is (obviously) not it. That said, the food falls into a comfortable rut between mediocre and pretty good depending on the day. Now the price does run just a little higher than I would hope, but that doesn't stop me from being a repeat customer.

  Good breakfast and lunch at good prices! Highly recommend their breakfast sandwiches and deli lunch sandwiches. I think they need to offer more sides like french fries or potatoes. but great place to get a bagel too!

  I ordered onion rings but received fries; they charged me the surcharge anyway. They should include small containers of the pickles and cole slaw that are free when dining in. On the bright side, delivery time was excellent...very quick (2011). Subsequent orders I requested with pickles and cole slaw; sometimes they include it, and sometimes they do not. Delivery time remains good.

  There are literally a dozen or more Chinese take-out/delivery restaurants that deliver to my house. This may not be the best, but one of the few -- if not the only one -- I can order from using an online/app service like Seamless, and pay for it easily with plastic. I've only ordered once, so I will withhold judgment on the quality of the food until I have placed more orders. They did deliver very quickly, less than 20 minutes from order to delivery.

  This somewhat new addition to Douglaston is a wonderful one. Their pizza is delicious, their salads and dressing is great and their customer service is awesome. Look forward to it every time I go there.
