Chinese is fine from here but sushi was not the best, rice was soggy and sweet? Delivery was good, no longer than anyone else in the area and delivery guy was nice.

I have no idea how this place has such low ratings. I eat a lot of sushi, and this place is superb. The fish is great quality, delivery is fast (when it's not, the email has an accurate time estimate). The rolls are superb! I order here once a week. It's the best!!!

Literally order from them weekly. I've never been disappointed with their roll combos, the delivery has always been fast (by Seneca M), and the delivery guy is supernice. And no upcharge for brown rice!

Extremely annoyed. The first 3 times I used delivery through seamless, things went smoothly. It came within 30 minutes and the food was pretty good. Today I ordered for a fourth time and it took an hour and a half just to get here and the place is close to my house... I called to check up on what's taking so long and all they could say was sorry it should be there in a few minutes. Then it gets worse. A new delivery guy, prior to my first three orders, comes and could not understand me nor could I understand him. He was asking me to pay.. and I said everything was payed for online through seamless. He then stands outside my house holding my door and calls the restaurant and speaks so very loudly for ten minutes. And I'm just standing there getting aggravated because I already waited so long for this food and this guy would not leave. He thought I hadn't payed. So after those ten grueling minutes, he confirms that I did pay even though the receipt already said that I did. He then asks for TIP. Mind you, I always tip $2 online when I order from them... and I'm just like, the tip is already on the card... I could not believe he even asked after all this inconvenience. I would take that online tip back if I could. Bottom line, I don't like how they handled this. I even thought they were going to compensate me for the long wait maybe a free side like what I had read from other restaurant reviews who had unsatisfied customers, but that was not the case. Not ordering here again. I hope you all have a better experience than I did. *After about a week, the manager herself contacted me and apologized for the inconvenience and offered me a free order. I appreciate that they called up and tried to fix the situation.*

I typically approach ordering from a brand new sushi restaurant online with a healthy degree of skepticism and paranoia. The fact that I can’t see the cleanliness of the establishment fuels this apprehension and the thought of “will I get violently ill?” can’t help but flutter through my mind. But my addiction to aquatic life always prevails and I take the leap of faith. Generally when faced with this situation, I order my "base" (test drive) rolls. But something about Cho Cho San’s menu spoke to me. The flavor and ingredient combinations seemed remarkably well-thought-out and my yearning for something amazing overtook my “base test” standards. Boy I am glad I followed my gut. Delivery was pleasantly timely, especially given that it was prime dinnertime on a Friday night. When the deliveryman arrived, he held a rose and stuck it out to me along with my food and a “Happy Valentine’s Day!” (It was the day after Valentine’s Day, but that seems an insignificant detail.) I excitedly put my florist-grade rose in water as my stomach growled in delicious anticipation. I ordered: iPhone 5 Roll, New Year Tree, Cho Cho Roll, and Avocado Nest. The Avocado Nest was like the Japanese answer to guacamole – definitely a share-friendly appetizer and definitely tasty. All of the fish and shellfish were extraordinarily fresh; the flavor combinations were spot on. The scallops were truly so fresh, that my taste buds took a little vacation back to the summertime Maine coast. And perhaps of equal or greater importance – and in light of the fact our local Japanese restaurants on Seamless have been failing badly in this department in the past months – the rice was cooked perfectly. Five stars all around – delivery promptness, food quality, taste, and customer service! I hope Cho Cho San (Queens) is here to stay. Welcome to Sunnyside!
