I had walked by Gari many times and figured it was some crappy hole-in-the-wall from the exterior, but I have been pleasantly surprised each time I've ordered from them. I usually stick with standard rolls like Alaska or spicy tuna, but I've also had some of the specialty rolls and enjoyed them. I also like the green salad with sesame dressing. Delivery can be pretty slow- I live less than a mile away and it took an hour and fifteen minutes on a random Tuesday night.

This is my favorite sushi I've had to far in Boston. The fish is really fresh, rolls are creative and let you actually taste the ingredients (aka not just a bunch of tempura and sweet sauce), and portions are generous. I love the Angel roll, which is fresh crabmeat and avocado wrapped in thinly sliced raw tuna.
